Installation
Gone are the days of office equipment arriving in a box and being unpacked, plugged in and switched on in a matter of minutes. Even stand-alone devices need to be correctly configured for optimum functionality and effectiveness in according to clients’ specific needs. The Konica Minolta Professional Services installation and support team comprises three divisions that ensure expert service delivery and support for the installations of new Konica Minolta. The team is made up of software engineers, colour specialists and production printing specialists. Each team is responsible for customer consultation, confirmation of the customer’s requirements, rollout and implementation of the recommended solution, customer training on the new product and continued after-sales support of the solution. With colour moving into mainstream printing, colour specialists provide expert colour assistance, support and advice to ensure customers get the most benefit from their colour devices. In addition, production printing specialists focus on the installation and support of the Konica Minolta production printing devices.
Network Configuration
Network installations present complex and time sensitive challenges. The necessary skills are available to ensure Konica Minolta Professional Services’s INFORMETA solutions fully integrate into a client’s existing or intended environment. The server exchange team is responsible for setting the solution’s foundation through extensive planning, preparation and by executing a smooth installation of Document Accounting, e-Document Delivery and Document Content Solutions. The team’s vast and detailed industry and product experience and knowledge means they provide the highest level of support, ensuring the correct infrastructure and most stable solution gets implemented properly the first time. The server team consists of network and server specialists with Microsoft, Linux, Novell, MAC and Sun certification, ensuring the best support available, countrywide.
Migration Services
Our migration services division assists clients in migrating from outdated to upgraded equipment and solutions. Change brings fear for organisations and employees alike. Konica Minolta Professional Services helps eliminate these fears by providing a comprehensive migration service that has negligible impact on the productivity of the organisation and its employees. Konica Minolta Professional Services’ migration services include de-commissioning of old solutions, commissioning of new solutions, providing back-up solutions during implementation and using a phased approach to move the organisation from one solution to another at an acceptable pace. Training is then provided on the new solution.
