Konica Minolta South Africa - Key into Colour 2008
August 7, 2008
Bidvest company, Konica Minolta South Africa’s Blake Grace has become the proud
owner of a Mercedes Benz 200 Kompressor Avant Garde, valued at more than R330
000.
The company’s "Key into Colour 2008- incentive ran from January to June
this year, with all active sales consultants from Konica Minolta South Africa
and authorised distributors taking part. Points were earned through new machine
sales, based on region and business potential, with a certain number of points
earning competitors a certain number of keys.
This year’s competition produced a record number of qualifiers - 156 people
with a total of 447 keys. The top qualifier accumulated enough points to earn
25 keys, with three other sales consultants earning between 15 and 20 keys
each. But, the game has proved again to be all luck!
At the gala luncheon in Johannesburg on Friday 25 July 2008, each qualifier
received the keys earned, of which only three could unlock the chest with the
real Mercedes keys. The three lucky finalists each got the chance to try and
start the car, but only one could drive away in it. Gillian Schneiderman from
the Johannesburg Sales office and Faizal Karim from Newcastle Sales got close,
but could do nothing more than to congratulate Johannesburg-based Blake as the
winner.
