On the 15th of October 2015, Konica Minolta South Africa once again celebrated the crème de la crème of its sales representatives.
This year, the event, which has been held annually since 2004, took place at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg.
The top accolade, 'Representative of the Year' went to Dirk Myburgh from Nelspruit Branch; whilst Jaco Mostert from Upington Branch and Henk Du Plessis from Kimberley Branch were named 'Best New Business Sales Representative' and 'Most Improved Sales Representative' respectively.
Each branch and sales manager put forward candidates for consideration; from there they passed through a rigorous judging process, where a number of issues are considered, before an ultimate winner is selected.
For the "Representative of the Year" entries, not only must each nominee have reached their sales targets, but the area in which they operate, business ethics, customer relationships, entries into the Customer Information Access (CIA) module on SAP and any customer testimonials are also taken into account.
Factors such as performance over the past few years, sales turnover and the number of units placed come into play for "Most Improved Representative", while the "Best New Business Representative" is selected based on how representatives have fared in looking for new dealings.
